Terms of Use

1. Who we are

ChoiceIdentity is operated by Boltout LLC dba ChoiceIdentity, a limited liability company organized under the laws of the State of Delaware, with a registered business address at 1309 Coffeen Avenue, STE 1200, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA. In these Terms, “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to Boltout LLC dba ChoiceIdentity.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, accessing, or otherwise using ChoiceIdentity (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use (the “Terms”) and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.

3. Description of Service

ChoiceIdentity provides identity monitoring, credit score visibility, and on-demand 3-bureau credit reports to residents of the United States. Credit and identity data is delivered through licensed credit reporting agencies and identity monitoring providers under our written contracts with those providers. We are not a credit bureau and do not make eligibility decisions for any product or service on behalf of any third party.

4. Eligibility

To use the Service, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age;
• Be a resident of the United States with a US Social Security Number;
• Be authorized to provide the personal information you submit for credit reporting purposes, and to request your own consumer report under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (“FCRA”).

5. Consumer Consent & Identity Verification

Before we pull any credit or identity data on your behalf, we verify that you are the consumer who is the subject of that data. Verification is performed through our credit-bureau API partner using knowledge-based authentication (KBA) — a set of questions derived from your own credit file. We record the fact of your consent and the time-stamp of successful verification. You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us at support@choiceidentity.com; withdrawal terminates the Service prospectively.

6. Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@choiceidentity.com if you become aware of any unauthorized use.

7. Payment Terms

Monthly membership

The ChoiceIdentity monthly membership is billed at $24 per month. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your saved payment method on a recurring monthly basis until you cancel. Payments are processed by our licensed payment processor; we do not store your full card number or bank routing details.

3-Bureau Premium Report

The 3-Bureau Premium Report is a one-time charge of $99, billed at the moment you request the report from your dashboard. A successful charge is required before the report is generated.

Saved payment method authorization

By subscribing to the Service, you authorize us to charge your saved payment method for additional services purchased from within your account, including the one-time 3-Bureau Premium Report, upon your explicit confirmation at the time of purchase. Each such charge requires a fresh, in-dashboard confirmation from you; we will never charge your saved card without that confirmation step.

8. Refunds

Refunds are handled according to our Refund Policy. In brief: monthly memberships are eligible for a full refund within seven (7) days of the first charge, and failed premium reports are refunded automatically.

9. FCRA Permissible Purpose & Use Limitation

By requesting a credit report through the Service, you certify that you are requesting your own consumer report and that you have a permissible purpose for the request under the FCRA (15 U.S.C. § 1681b). You authorize us to obtain that report on your behalf from the applicable credit reporting agencies. We use credit and identity information solely to deliver the Service to the consumer who is the subject of the data; we do not use it to make, and do not permit our partners to use it to make, any decision about eligibility for credit, insurance, employment, housing, or any other transaction on behalf of any third party.

10. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to obtain a credit report or identity data on any person other than yourself;
• Share your login credentials with any other person;
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or otherwise access the Service by automated means;
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or the servers and networks connected to it, or attempt to bypass any authentication or rate-limit measure.

11. Termination

You may cancel your membership at any time from your account settings; cancellation stops future charges immediately. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably suspect of fraudulent use.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that any specific action taken in response to information delivered through the Service will improve your credit or prevent identity theft.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Boltout LLC dba ChoiceIdentity will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

14. Governing Law & Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any dispute arising from or related to these Terms will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in New Castle County, Delaware.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page and, for material changes, notify you via email or an in-app notice.
